Remember that memory leak I mentioned last week? I fixed it but another popped up. I’m taking a little time to understand more about what is happening so that I don’t have to continually check for leaks.
It looks like I may have discovered a bug with enums in structs in Swift with Xcode 8.2.1. I’m very hesitant to fully believe in this theory without further investigation. I was able to take an example from one of the “getting started” projects for iOS provided by Apple and add a couple lines of simple code to create a memory leak.
Sadly, this week might be more memory leak investigation; however, I believe it’s going to beneficial in the long run.
